Tour to one of the great wonders of the world, the mighty Borobudur Temple. This temple is basically a structure of grey andesine stone with 10 terraces, each smaller that the one below, rising to the Great Stupa on top, standing about 40 meters above the ground. The bas-relief sculptures description the life of Buddha on the walls of lower six square levels are hailed as the largest and most complete ensemble of Buddhist relief’s in the world. Visits will also be made to the nearby, smaller, but equally important Candi Mendut with its three meter statue of Buddha, and Candi Pawon temple.
