We are all used to theatre performances on stages with more or less elaborate scenic design. This isn’t one of those cases: the lush hills, the haze, the fog, the moonlight that reflects on the water work as a downstage at the show Impression Liu Sanje. Helped by tricks of the light, optic effects, wooden boats and floating steps, the actors will transfer you to the exciting world of the film “Sanjie Liu”, the first musical of the Chinese cinema based on a legend of the Zhuang population.
