Perched on a hill above the Ville Nouvelle (new town) with sweeping views of the city to Mount Zalagh, it is a great base for visiting the nearby Medina of Fez. Hotel Sahrai was once the vacation home of General Lyautey, military governor of the French protectorate from 1907 to 1925. Acclaimed French interior designer Christophe Pillet blended elements of classic design with a more contemporary style.
