Hotel Sahrai

Where:
Fes
Perched on a hill above the Ville Nouvelle (new town) with sweeping views of the city to Mount Zalagh, it is a great base for visiting the nearby Medina of Fez. Hotel Sahrai was once the vacation home of General Lyautey, military governor of the French protectorate from 1907 to 1925. Acclaimed French interior designer Christophe Pillet blended elements of classic design with a more contemporary style. The 50 cozy and refined rooms guest rooms feature the same floor-to-ceiling picture windows.
The property has three restaurants, Il Relais de Paris, bistro-style and Amaraz, with a menu of Moroccan and Lebanese dishes, two bars, a state-of-the-art gym and an L-shaped infinity pool.
The Sahrai hotel is home to North Africa's only Givenchy spa, complete with luxurious marble Turkish baths and a jade green pool.
