Villa Maroc is housed in an eighteenth-century palace, located at the southern end of the medina of Essaouira, in a point that encompasses the view of the beach, the port and the heart of the medina from the roof terrace. This riad hotel, restored respecting the original architecture, offers 21 rooms of all shapes and sizes, from 12 cozy doubles to seven larger suites with seating areas, as well as two family apartments. All public spaces are intimate and comfortable, furnished with Moroccan and African antiques. They include quiet reading patios, numerous lounges and dining rooms, a shop, a bar, a bijou spa and a spectacular terrace. The kitchen serves up excellent dishes based on traditional recipes. A country villa - Les Jardins de Villa Maroc - has been added to the property, connected by a shuttle bus, complete with swimming pool, barbecue terrace and three double bedrooms.
