A visit at the “roof” of Thailand: Doi Inthanon with its highlands, located to the west of Chiang Mai. Here there are Phra Mahathat Napha Mathanidon and Phra Mahatat Naphaphon Phumisiri, two twin pagodas in which the Buddha’s ashes are guarded, making the sanctuary a place of peregrination and meditation. After the visit you will be able to reach the ethnic community of the Monghs to get to know their traditions and culture, or you will be able to go down the Doi Inthanon river, characterized by the wonderful Watchiratan waterfalls: 80 m of leaps and big jumps carved in granite over millions of years of erosion.
