40 minutes of navigation from the entrance of the Mulu National Park there’s the Camp 5, a base-camp without too many amenities, such as electricity or hot water. From here starts “the path of the headhunters”, that scambles for 11 km between lakes, Tibetan bridges, jungle and fords. For this experience you have to arm yourselves with spirit of adventure or adaptation, it’s certainly not a path for everybody; however, your hard work will be rewarded with a visit at Rumah Penghulu Sigah, where you will sleep in a Longhouse and live really close to a tribal group.
