Day 1: Marrakech arrival

Located in the heart of Marrakech's Medina, in the labyrinthine web of alleyways and souks, just a few minutes' walk from the vibrant and magical Jemaa El Fna square, Riad Yamina52 welcomes its guests in a historic and elegant house, a silent oasis of relaxation, cheered by the chirping of birds. The restoration of this traditional Moroccan house, consisting of two communicating properties, was carried out using traditional materials and ancient construction techniques. The original tadelakt combined in a refined manner with zellige tiles, have revived the old and exclusive charm of the Riad, which can be savoured in every room.
The fragrances and elegance of the spaces, the main entrance in blue tadelakt with the ceiling studded with lanterns, the small courtyard with fountain of the Essalam property with the restaurant area, the main Yamina courtyard with swimming pool and orange trees, the ideal place to relax while sipping a mint tea. There is no shortage of communal areas for relaxation: the library with a fireplace to cuddle up on chilly evenings, the patio and alcove, and the terrace with sofas and tables, ideal for breakfast or an evening aperitif. Sun loungers are also available.

Day dedicated to visiting the splendid city of Marrakech, the red city and the most important of the Imperial Cities, superbly surrounded by the High Atlas mountain range: the Koutubia with its beautiful minaret, symbol of the city, the Bahia palace and its gardens, the Jewish quarter, the Palazzo Badia or the Tombaux Saadiani in the Kasbah neighborhoods, the famous Djemaa El Fna square where you can meet snake charmers, street artists with their improvised shows and lots of folklore, the animated souk, among the labyrinthine alleys of the Medina, with its colors and its scents of spices and essences, you arrive at the Koranic school for a visit of this beautiful recently restored monument.

Day 3: Marrakech

Among the gardens, the one best known for its history and special features is the splendid Majorelle Garden with its paths among plants from all over the world and decorative details in the Moroccan style. It is located outside the old city and can be a reason to take a break from the chaos of downtown. The garden, built by French artist Jacques Majorelle who moved to Morocco in the early 1900s, was bought by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé after his death. Inside, among cacti and palms of all kinds, colorful flowers and fish ponds, stands the electric blue villa (the famous Majorelle blue) halfway between Moorish and Art Noveau styles, once a mansion and now home to the Berber art museum. The attached YSL museum (one of the main attractions) and the Berber Arts Museum are very interesting.

Afternoon visit of Taroudant.
This little town, surrounded by the mountains of the High Atlas and the Middle Atlas, is considered a small Marrakech, due to the bastions (7km and a half) that defended it and its lively souqs. This Berber market town used to be on the caravan routes and it’s nowadays a great hub for exploring the Atlantic coast south of Agadir.

Day 5: Taroudant - Taghazout or Agadir (about 110 km - 1.45h drive)

Boutique hotel spread over 3 buildings with a total of 18 rooms (minisuite / suite / magnum suite). The structure is crazy and unique. It is located on the sea front, with access to the beach (not private). It has a small pool on the roof of building no. 1 and one of the magnum suites has a private pool. It is suitable for a young or otherwise fit clientele because it is all ups and downs of steps and narrow streets. No a/c.
*Taghazout is known for surf lovers and easy stay, many youth people if staying in accommodation in the village.
For guests that wish to have higher category and service, there are 5stars beach front accommodations (Hyatt/Fairmont) to consider.

This is a seaside resort spread north of Agadir in the direction of Essaouira (15 minutes from Agadir). It is an absolutely high standard 4-star resort with about 100 rooms including bungalows and 1 villa. The rooms are spread over 7 sea-view buildings with terraces or gardens if on the ground floor. The rooms are all large, simply but tastefully furnished. Equipped with all comforts (TV, fridge bar kitchenette).
Many solutions for families, but also rooms for couples who enjoy a lot of privacy. Swimming pool/private beach/ gym/ yoga centre/ surf school.
