In the Kathmandu valley (350 m) the cold season, from October to March is the best time to visit the country. The temperature is significantly higher in the Pokhara valley, where at noon and at lower elevations reaches 30 °. In April, May and June the days are hot and muggy, with occasional thunderstorms in the evening. Nature is in its full splendor, but the scenery is often shrouded in fog. At the end of June the monsoons arrive, announced by rains that normally begin in May. The rainy season lasts three months.The best time to carry out a trip to Tibet is from March to October. The plateau is characterized by short summers and moderately warm and very cold and dry winters. In spring and autumn the weather is dry, the air and the sky are mostly clear. In Lhasa, during this period, the maximum temperatures range from 18° to 25 ° and the minimum is around zero. During the summer maximum temperatures range from 25° to 35 °, the minimum from 0° to 5 °. May, June, July and August are the hottest months of the year. July and August are  influenced by the moonson.
