The land of animals

A little further to the south of Adelaide there is a particularly important island for the presence of hundreds of animal species, thanks to the preservation of their natural habitat. Kangaroos, wallabies, sea lions, echidnas, opossums, koalas, platypuses and emus, all the Australian endemic species, have found a shelter in this island, also thanks to the disappearence of the Aborigine settlements more than 2000 years ago. You may visit the natural parks during the day or spend the night in one of the several accommodation which range from campings, to the shelters for backpackers, to the resorts equipped with every luxury and comfort.
