In the collective imagination, when the Chinese martial arts are nominated, the brain representaion  takes you immediately to some monks, dressed in orange that practise in the monasteries. The most famous monastery of martial arts, generally called wushu or kung fu, is certainly the Bhuddist one in Shaolin. In the proximity many schools have been opened, some are specialised in the impartation of the key teachings and in explaining to the curious ones the history and the basic movements.
