Mungagu guesthouse is a Moroccan-style design hotel located in the heart of Taghazout, a small coastal village 19km north of Agadir. It has 15 rooms, each individually decorated, using artwork and furnishings that incorporate locally sourced materials. Wood is certainly the common theme throughout the hotel. To take advantage of the sunny weather, guests can use the terraces, the rooftop lounge pool and other outdoor spaces. The Favela restaurant, on the top floor of the Mungas building, serves a variety of fresh local seafood, Moroccan and Mediterranean dishes, and homemade tapas. Mungas Kitchen is located on the lobby level and offers a rich menu in a more casual setting.
