On the road through Langtang and Helambu

A few trekkers visit the Langtang National Park, ruled by the Langtang Lirung (7234 m), whose low valley is populated by the Tamangs and the higher by the famous Sherpa. You will climb toward one of the most important place of worship of Himalaya, the sacred lakes of Gosaikunda, destination of thousands of peregrines, that every summer wish to meet Shiva, important Hindu god. If you will go on in Helambu, you will meet the Tamangs, a population of Tibetan origin, proud and cultured that still today follows the tantric shamanism.
