Head into the river and bathe the elephants, cleaning them and helping to protect their skin. ith the food prepared, the first meeting will take place. Embark on a boat ride across the Nam Khan River where the elephants await. The guide will provide instruction on how to approach and interact with the elephants, as well as the best means of delivering their special handmade snack. After meeting the elephants, follow them (alongside the guide and mahouts) int the river to begin the washing aspect of the encounter. Using natural brushes and soaps collected from the jungle, help to both clean and protect the skin of these gentle giants. Please be aware that during this process, there may be a bit of accidental spraying from the elephant’s trunks!
